Yep, 4 years. It goes by fast, don't it? To kick off this little Birthday post, we're gonna have ourselves a contest. Two contests actually, but more on that below.

IKP's Top 10 IKP videos....

We decided it might be fun to look back and make a list of our 10 favorite videos. Keep in mind this is just our opinion, so feel free to disagree. Starting at #10 and counting down to #1, first up:

Lost: Halostyle 10 "the Ultimatum
This episode makes it into the top ten for one reason: the confrontation between the humans and Covenant. This is one of our all-time favorite scenes, and the way all the character building we had done up to that point all comes together very nicely. And we still find it quite funny, as well.

Lost Cause 19 "Knight to C3"
We really like this episode for a number of reasons. Some of which are: It's the most professional and polished episode we have made to date. The writing, cinematography, voice work, special effects, it's all leaps and bounds above our earlier work.

Lost: Halostyle 11 "the Deep Breath"
This is episode was very important because it got everything set for the big two part fhe inale, and it worked out really well. The rip off from the Lord of the Rings at the end alone makes this episode deserving of the #8 spot.

USSR
Back in the old days of Machinima, if a new production group released a first video that was anything above crap, it was something special. USSR isn't great by any means, but for a first outing, we think it turned out pretty darned decent.

Lost Cause 18 "Don't Drop the Soap"
This episode was the first to incorporate a lot more cinematic elements into an episode then previous outings. It also had some of the most wicked special effects we've been able to pull off (Ra 'Mae killing the spy and Leslies monitor).

Predator
Ah, Predator. It seems like just yesterday we were filming an episode of Lost and decided "hey, let's film a short predator video for fun!". Ok, we all said. One month of solid work later, and Predator was released. Predator is very special to us in that it was our first video we used REAL mics to record the voicework, but also for the unusual way it was made. Instead of the usual "write script, voice, film" procedure, we did "film, write, voice". How it turned out the way it did is beyond me.

Lost Cause 17 "Leslie's Plan"
One word: Leslie. This episode was cater made for everyone's favorite pink dicktator. And the big dance sequence at the end was like the white icing on the chocolate cake.

Lost: Halostyle 12 "the Plunge Part 1"
Similar to episode 17, this ep was Mutes (john) big moment. His scene taking down the Wraiths was some of the most fun we've had while filming Lost.

Life Obstacles of Special Ted Episode 4
This episode is at #2 just because we find it so freaking funny. It was one of those moments where I just started writing and would crack up laughing in the process. The Car Sales Obstacle is definitely the best, and easily our favorite Ted moment.

Lost: Halostyle 13 "the Plunge Part 2"
Was there really any doubt episode 13 would be #1? This was really a great episode. The story all came together well, the way the episode flowed was awesome, and the action is still my favorite (Jimmy's sword battle, anyone?) Plus we had an obscene number of main characters die, which always makes a video better!
